ALGAMAR WAKAME SEAWEED POWDER RECIPES

 

    Here are a few easy and fun recipes using Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder:

     

    Wakame Salad

     Ingredients:

    • 2 tablespoons Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder
    • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
    • 1 carrot, grated
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
    • Sesame seeds for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Soak the Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder in water for about 5 minutes until it becomes soft. Drain and set aside.
    2. In a bowl, combine the cucumber, carrot, and soaked wakame seaweed.
    3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey/maple syrup (if using) to make the dressing.
    4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
    5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds as a garnish and serve chilled.

     

    Wakame Miso Soup


    Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder
    • 2 cups vegetable broth
    • 2 tablespoons miso paste
    • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 cup tofu, cubed (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. In a saucepan, bring the vegetable broth to a boil.
    2. Add the Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the seaweed softens.
    3. In a small bowl, dissolve the miso paste in a few tablespoons of hot broth from the saucepan.
    4. Add the miso mixture back to the saucepan and stir well.
    5. Add tofu (if using) and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
    6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions. 

     

    Wakame Rice Balls


    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
    • 1 tablespoon Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • Nori sheets, cut into small squares for wrapping

    Instructions:

    1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sushi rice, Algamar Wakame Seaweed Powder, sesame seeds, and soy sauce. Mix well.
    2. Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking and take a handful of the rice mixture.
    3. Shape the rice into small balls or triangles, compacting them tightly.
    4. Wrap each rice ball with a small square of nori sheet.
    5. Repeat with the remaining rice mixture.
    6. Serve as a snack or as part of a bento box.
